You know how they say, 'the best laid plans go oft awry'? Yeah... that's kind of been this first week for me. I had some ups and some downs and most of my laid out plans didn't really go... well.. according to plan. Last week, I put together a meal plan, a workout plan and a declutter plan. I would say I hit the meal plan about 60% of the time, the workout plan about 20% of the time and a big fat zero on the declutter plan. I'm trying to be more positive in life in general so let's start with what worked. I did really well with my breakfasts and lunch throughout the week. I also started the week well with my workouts. I went back to work after being off for vacation on Tuesday and I knew it was going to be a struggle so those meals were planned and prepped ahead of time. I'm working towards converting to Paleo based eating habits; I'd like to be about 90% Paleo consistently. I love other food way too much to cut it out completely and it's not ...
So I've tried this blog thing before and had a really hard time keeping up with it. Life just gets overwhelming sometimes, you know? I'm really working this upcoming year to get my stuff back together - I've got my planner ready, my meal plans in place and have been de-cluttering and cleaning out my house this week while on vacation. So what is this blog going to focus on? Right now, I'm wanting to journal the changes and happenings going on with me. Maybe that won't be very exciting for some but I'm hoping to use this as additional tool to help keep me on track with my goals. So a little about me - I love to craft, cook and create.
